00:06:58>> Pam: Thank you very much.
00:06:59This game could be coming down to the wire.
00:07:01Just like the louisville.
00:07:03>> Baylor game did on sunday.
00:07:05Tennessee right now down five.
00:07:09Both teams in the double bonus for the rest of the game.
00:07:12Jude schimmel.
00:07:25>> Rebecca: Talking about some of the play that is would work out for her.

00:07:41>> Pam: Jeff walz coming up with a game plan.
00:07:45To disguise his defenses.
00:07:48>> Rebecca: Right now we talked about this in the first half.
00:07:51Is there a cumulative effect in terms of louisville's energy?
00:07:55And coming down from that baylor win.
00:07:57And meighan simmons just, what a tough shot to hit over a post player for louisville.
00:08:05But louisville had the energy earlier.
00:08:07They have a different energy in the second half here.
00:08:08And the fatigue and the emotional letdown that you had after such a huge game like they had in the upset against baylor on sunday, is that having an impact now?
00:08:21>> Pam: Tennessee has not gone to the final four since 2008.
00:08:25And if they fail to win tonight, it will be five straight years they have never gone more than three straight years without going to the final four.
00:08:35And they are trying to get back there.
00:08:37Bashaara graves continues to be looked at over there on the sideline.
00:08:41Their terrific freshman.
00:08:46Louisville right now needs to find a quality shot from shoni schimmel, slaughter.
00:08:53Those are the key players that haven able to carry them offense ily for stretches.
00:09:02>> Rebecca: There you see the leads that louisville has had evaporate in the last couple of games.
00:09:08Shoni says gimme the ball.
00:09:10>> Rebecca: She took that like a running back and took it in there to finish.
00:09:14That kid has got no fear.
00:09:17>> Pam: 20 For seany.
00:09:19She had 22 against baylor.
00:09:21That missed everything.
00:09:23Rebound taken down by slaughter.
00:09:27And now shoni schimmel slows it down.
00:09:33Louisville, the six seed in the oklahoma city regional.
00:09:40Middle tennessee upset purdue.
00:09:42The big win against baylor.
00:09:43Jude!
00:09:49Two huge threes against baylor as well.
00:09:52Kevin durant liking it.
00:09:54Simmons answers!
00:09:59They do need to get stopped.
00:10:01It is a six-point lead inside of two minutes.
00:10:03Shoni!
00:10:04All the way to the bucket!
00:10:05Forget about milking the clock.
00:10:13That kid knows one mode.
00:10:14It is attack mode.
00:10:19Simmons, that time no good.
00:10:20Rebound, battled for.
00:10:22Kamiko williams.
00:10:23Wins it.
00:10:37Sometimes all you need is to keep it all in the family.
00:10:39Look at her cupping that basketball.
00:10:40Going in on izzy harrison.
00:10:41A terrific shot-blocker.
00:10:45And then little sister says "i " hits a big, big three.
00:10:50Shoni schimmel, one more time.
00:10:53Attacking from the left side.
00:10:57>> Pam: The schimmels accounting for 34 points tonight.
00:11:0122 Of them for shoni.
00:11:04And there is jude.
00:11:05Bringing it up by herself.
00:11:11Bashaara graves back in the game for tennessee.
00:11:13A nice pass too slaughter.
00:11:14This is a louisville team we saw early in the game.
00:11:17The one that got that 20-point lead.
00:11:20Louisville up by ten.
00:11:21Time running out on the lady vols.
00:11:26Held ball.
00:11:28Possession arrow.
00:11:32Stay with us right here on espn.
00:11:34Spenter is copping up.
00:11:35As soon as we are finished in oklahoma city.
00:11:44Under a minute to go.
00:11:45This is a tennessee team that can really take the three-point shot.
00:11:49We have seen meighan simmons hit from deep.
00:12:00Williams with the throw in to burdick.
00:12:04Louisville has done a much better job on the defense i glass on this run as well.
00:12:10Foul on hammond, I believe.
00:12:14That is her fourth.
00:12:16For louisville.
00:12:1948.7 Seconds left.
00:12:29Sara hammond, the sophomore, her dream was to play at the university of kentucky.
00:12:34 vernon, kentucky.
00:12:39Kentucky came in late.
00:12:41She honor nored her commitment.
00:12:44Had a great time at louisville.
00:12:46Could be getting a lot greater here if they could hang on and get to new orleans.
00:12:51>> Rebecca: Going to be important for louisville to box out on this free throw.
00:12:55We assault weapon it last night.
00:12:56Georgia did not.
00:12:58Cal got some offense i rebounds.
00:13:00Really hurt georgia late in that game.
00:13:09Time running out on tennessee.
00:13:12Jude schimmel forcing the turnover.
00:13:14Tennessee forced the foul.
00:13:16>> Rebecca: Those free throws really hurt them.
00:13:18Not only the two points that were left.
00:13:20They didn't get them.
00:13:21If you make that second free throw, you can set up in your full-court pressure.
00:13:24At least have an opportunity for a steal.
00:13:26Instead, they don't get the two points and they have to foul.
00:13:48Schimmel is tonight's capital one player of the game.
00:13:50Doing it with flair.
00:13:51And flash.
00:13:53Shoni schimmel.
00:13:57>> Rebecca: She's got some toughness and flair and flash.
00:14:03>> Pam: They are going to kind of like her down in new orleans.
00:14:13You don't want to foul.
00:14:14But you have to play better defense than.
00:14:15THAT >> Pam: Her fourth three in the second half.
00:14:20Jude schimmel wisely pulls it out.
00:14:227 seconds left to go.
00:14:29That was a risky pass.
00:14:30If that goes out of bounds without touching anyone, tennessee gets it back on their end of the floor.
00:14:35But it didn't.
00:14:37>> Pam: No, it did not.
00:14:38Now jude can go to the free throw line.
00:14:42>> Rebecca: Big sister on the money to little sister.
00:14:45>> Pam: Jude schimmel last year as a freshman, only averaged about 12 minutes per game.
00:14:50Averaged under two points per game.
00:14:52She has come a long way and become a major contributor in this, her sophomore year.
00:15:09Always a pleasure to watch shoni schimmel highlights.
00:15:12>> Rebecca: It is fun to say her name.
00:15:14Shoni schimmel.
00:15:16She doesn't hesitate to take it when it's there.
00:15:18She did this well.
00:15:20She had a few spin moves inside.
00:15:22Not afraid to put the ball on the floor.
00:15:25May good decisions.
00:15:28She was taking it in the lane.
00:15:30How about that crossover, too?
00:15:32Right hand, left hand.
00:15:33The whole deal today.
00:15:38>> Pam: Again, this is a kid who has lost at least 20 pounds since around christmastime.
00:15:46We would not be seeing this if she was the shoni schimmel of early december.
00:15:50I mean, she is fitter.
00:15:52.. her endurance is better.
00:15:54She can do some nice things out there now.
00:15:57>> Rebecca: She can really play.
00:15:59Fitter.
00:15:59More fit.
00:16:00>> Pam: That is the word.
00:16:02You can say fitter.
00:16:04>> Rebecca: You can say whatever you want, pam.
00:16:12>> Pam: They had a game earlier in the season, they wanted a recommitment from her to basketball.
00:16:17She obviously has decided to go down that path.
00:16:19And it is about to pay off in a big way.
00:16:30>> Rebecca: Making tennessee take some more time off the clock before they can hoist the shot.
00:16:36>> Pam: Taber spani.
00:16:39>> Rebecca: Let them take the two-pointer.
00:16:41They are going to foul you.
00:16:42You are going to get it the other way.
00:16:45>> Pam: All of taber's points coming in the second half.
00:16:49Williams can't score.
00:16:49Graves can.
00:16:51>> Rebecca: You have to take threes at this point if you are tennessee, though.
00:16:54You have to take threes.
00:16:57>> Pam: 7-Point lead.
00:16:59They get it inbound to jude schimmel.
00:17:013 seconds left to go.
00:17:06A louisville basketball team picked third in the big east behind uconn and notre dame.
00:17:123 Seconds away from joining those two pouperhouses in new orleans.
00:17:17>> Rebecca: I don't think this is a year that anyone expected three big east teams playing in the final four.
00:17:38Jude gets one of two.
00:17:41Ties a career high with 15 points tonight.
00:17:47And tennessee, for the fifth straight year, will not go to the final four.
00:17:53Jeff walz and louisville heading back!
00:17:55They are going to new orleans with their second straight upset!
00:18:03First they beat baylor.
00:18:05Then they take care of the lady vols.
00:18:07The schimmel show is going to new orleans.
00:18:17>> Rebecca: They are going to the final four.
00:18:21>> Pam: Shoni schimmel has been tremendous.
00:18:36>> A or nhing.
00:18:37Go out there and put it on the line.
00:18:39Nobody wants us to win.
00:18:41Nobody wants to see us beat tennessee.
00:18:43Baylor.
00:18:44We have did both of those.
00:18:45Now we are going to the final four.
00:18:54>> Coach, you put yourself in the interview.
00:18:56The question for you is you told your team, that no one expected them to come in here and get this win.
00:19:03>> We ruined the entire party.
00:19:05We are tugly ducklings that ruined the party.
00:19:07That's what we love!
00:19:09Nobody gave us a chance!
00:19:11Even in these two games!
00:19:12We shocked everybody!
00:19:14Everyone talks about our defense.
00:19:15We hung 82 on the great baylor team.
00:19:20And we haven't scored like that in about three months.
00:19:23I don't know where or how we started making shots.
00:19:26But we did.
00:19:26I'm just so proud of every single one of them.
00:19:29It is a journey and we are going to continue it.
00:19:31Thank you so much!
00:19:34>> One question, coach.
00:19:35You beat baylor.
00:19:36You beat tennessee.
00:19:37Which victory was better for you in your mind?
00:19:39>> To me, it is the kids.
00:19:40I'm telling you, I just love every single one of them.
00:19:44They believed in what we do.
00:19:45I told them the last minute and a half, I'm hard enough on them in practice to prepare for this situation.
00:19:51That's my job, to make sure they are ready for.
00:19:53This I didn't make the shots tonight.
00:19:56Jude schimmel played unbelievable.
00:19:59We still find a way to win.
00:20:00I'm so proud of every single one of them.
00:20:03>> I'll let you celebrate with the team, coach.
00:20:05>> Thank you!
00:20:06>> Pam: The last time they scored this many points, 88 points on new year's eve against tennessee state.
00:20:11This time they did it against tennessee.
00:20:15What an effort for shoni, jude, the schimmel sisters.
00:20:20The rest of them.
00:20:21And yes, this is what we have.
00:20:23Connecticut, notre dame.
00:20:25A lot of peoplen anticipated that.
00:20:27Not many people would have said cal and louisville, if any.
00:20:31>> I would say nobody anticipated that one.
00:20:33That is a fun matchup, though.
00:20:34This cal team has struggled against the zone.
00:20:38Louisville will play zone and other stuff.
00:20:40Can they continue to score the way they have scored the last two games?
00:20:42>> Pam: Well, congratulations to louisville.
00:20:45Boy thai, they earned it.
00:20:47Taking care of baylor and tennessee.
00:20:48Here in oklahoma city.
00:20:50Tennessee falls 86-78 to louisville.
00:20:53They move on to the final four next weekend to take on california.

00:21:14" a-team.
00:21:19Welcome into the latest edition " jonathon coachman and linda cohn.
00:21:25What is the one way you can make people know baseball is here and ready to go.
00:21:28I say near perfection.
00:21:32 the texas rangers spent 7 million just to get a chance to negotiate to get yu darvish to come to the rangers.
00:21:39He came to the team and for an additional $56 million for a total of $107 million.
00:21:45Would it be money well spent?

00:21:49It was sure a fun ride.
00:21:51Yu darvish on the hill.
00:21:51The fans came out to see him.

00:22:41It is deep.

00:23:06Then in the bottom of the sixth he strikes out castro.

00:23:16Darvish pacing in the dugout.
00:23:17His teammates leave him alone.
00:23:20Don't want to interact with him.

00:23:25You know how it goes.
00:23:26Altuve pops out to second.
00:23:28That is caught and one out.
00:23:30What is yu darvish doing right about now?
00:23:32He is just trying to stay loose, get the kinks out of the neck.
00:23:38Next batter, it is wallace again.
00:23:41Forget it.
00:23:43That pitch was not great.

00:24:48Darvish is perfect through eight on 107 pitches.
00:24:52Trying to become the first japanese pitcher to throw a perfect game in the major leagues.
00:24:58Manager ron washington having a conversation.
00:25:00You are not taking him out.
00:25:01Come than 0.

00:13:36Didn't get it.
00:13:37Now as you said, they built the three-game cushion for home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
